
What I have so far:
- old models of hallway modules – need to be cleaned up
- loose plan of narrative and gameplay
- Unity HDRP sample character controller and scene with my own architecture
- a lot of ideas
What I need to do:
- Write narrative content
- Side quests?
- Design gameplay mechanics
- Make environments
- Figure out what the demo can/can’t include

Narrative ideas:
- Emails, texts, notes, news and advertisements communicate timeline & events
Gameplay ideas:
- CCTV menu – the player will select their level/area/character
- Different character controllers with different abilities – different levels of interaction?
- Pepe Silvia type data organization/investigation for the player to piece together a timeline of events
Environment:
- extraplanetary resort (where investigation takes place)
- space station (where player is remotely conducting investigation)

Demo (I think): Player will start in the space station and get some intro to the character they’re playing. Player will begin investigation by looking at CCTV of the resort and gaining control of drones/robots/tech there to find information. One room/robot will be accessibly in the demo.
Questions I need to answer: How much of the narrative can be included? There has to be a bit of a cliffhanger to make people want to play the rest of the game. Unfortunately this game isn’t an open world or generative type of game but it would be cool if there could be some replay-ablity? There should probably be side quests. I should figure out how big the game can be ideally.
